Powder tank trucks, also known as powder and particle material transport trucks/powder tank semi-trailers, are vehicles specially used to transport bulk dry materials with a particle diameter of less than 0.1mm, such as cement, coal powder, stone powder, etc. This type of vehicle is widely used in many fields such as industry, agriculture, commerce, power plants, and construction.
From a structural point of view, powder tank trucks are usually horizontal in design, including horizontal single-bin, double-bin, and relatively rare three-bin designs, among which single-bin and double-bin designs are the most common.
The feed port of the powder tank truck is set at the top of the tank body, and the interior is equipped with an air chamber and a fluidized bed. When unloading, the powder is fluidized by compressed gas and then "blown" out of the tank. The bottom of the tank is designed to be inclined to help the powder flow. For powders with poor fluidity, a lifting function can also be used. In addition, the shape of the tank body will vary depending on the medium being transported.
