What are the main types of dump trailers?


1. Tail dump trailer

The front of the tail dump trailer is equipped with a hydraulic system, which can open the rear of the trailer to unload the cargo.

Working principle of hydraulic system: hydraulic oil enters the cylinder through the manual booster rod (hydraulic manual pump) through the single valve. At this time, the hydraulic oil entering the cylinder cannot flow back due to the action of the single valve, forcing the cylinder rod to move upward and continue to work, so that the hydraulic oil continues to enter the hydraulic cylinder, so it continues to rise. When it is time to descend, open the hydraulic valve to return the hydraulic oil to the tank.

 

2. Side-unloading trailer

The side-unloading semi-trailer is a semi-trailer whose side box can be opened, and then the side hydraulic device is used to realize side unloading.

 

Structure of side-mounted semi-trailer: the manual control valve is installed in an easy-to-operate position in the tractor cab; the power take-off is installed on the tractor gearbox; a gear pump is connected to the frame; the fuel tank is close to the rear of the tractor cab and fastened to the tractor frame; multiple lifting cylinders are reasonably distributed at the bottom of the semi-trailer cabin; a single self-rescue cylinder is installed at the rear of the semi-trailer frame; the multi-way valve is fixed on the belly of the semi-trailer near the self-rescue cylinder. When the dump device is working, the semi-trailer cabin uses the hinge point between the cabin and the side of the frame as the rotation center, and uses the lifting cylinder supported on the bottom of the cabin to tip over the cabin to separate the vehicle from the cargo.
